Who we are

Gibraltar Rockwood Rotary is the local club of Rotary International, a global network of community volunteers. Rotarians are professional leaders with heterogeneous backgrounds. We provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill locally and worldwide.

We are 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world.

Gibraltar Rockwood Rotary

We are about 25 active local Rotarians with different backgrounds and demographics. We meet weekly for breakfast, and frequently for other activities, such as Jack of Spades (every Tuesday night at Buster’s). We organize various fundraising events – examples include the Muskrat Dinner, a Fishing Tournament, Refreshments at Music in the Park and the 4th of July Parade, a Golf Outing and the Gibraltar Duck Race. We use 100% of our money to support local activities. Click here to read more about what we did in Gibraltar and Rockwood.

What is the The Rotary The 4-Way Test?

The Rotary Four Way test covers our principles that have been developed to provide Rotarians with a strong and common purpose. It is a ‘nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide’ for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. We, and any other Rotary clubs, recite it at the beginning of each club meetings:

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
